As the technology has been rapidly developing, Global Network Solutions Ltd presents to the telecommunications market Mobile VoIP Calling.

In contrast to the traditional GSM Gateway technology, Mobile VoIP Calling handles both calls – GSM and CDMA.

Instead of bucket of minutes it processes the data connection that can be easily set up for using fixed mobile convergence (FMC).

This service can be used by about 450 different models of cellphones that include Blackberry, Symbian 8 and 9, Windows Mobile 5 and 6, and UIQ operating systems. Thus, the number of users whom the service can be applied reaches 250 million out of three billion active mobile users.

With Mobile VoIP Calling you don’t need any gateways. This is especially useful for global travelers, who need to be reached out of the office. Through the use of FMC an incoming call will never be missed. When somebody dials your number, the call is received by both the landline phone in your office and your mobile phone. Even if you travel abroad receiving calls on your mobile phone from home through the FMC number, no roaming charges or LD apply to you.

GSM Gateways

The GSM Gateway (or Fixed Wireless Terminal / Cellular Gateway / Fixed Cellular Terminal) enables users to call cheaply from fixed phones to GSM numbers.

Actually mobile-to-mobile calls appear to be cheaper than calls from fixed lines to mobile networks. The GSM Gateway (FCT) thus presents a unified “mobile phone” which operates all the calls of a company to mobile networks.

You can install several SIM cards in the GSM Gateway (GSM Router, FCT) and make calls within a shared mobile network. These solutions present a great variety of new features and functions, including sending SMS, fax messages and so forth.

What is a Fixed Cellular Terminal?

Fixed Cellular terminals

A Fixed Cellular Terminal is a device that stores a number of SIM cards that depends on special requirements you have. It has a great diverting mechanism that controls the telephone exchange. Namely, through the use of SIM cards calls from fixed lines to mobile networks are converted to mobile-to-mobile calls.

Who it’s for:

This service is perfectly suited for companies that have to make a great deal of fixed-to-mobile calls from their offices to the mobile phones of their employees or any other companies that need to cut monthly expenditures on calls from landline to mobile.

How it can benefit your business:

Using a fixed cellular terminal is highly cost efficient. Assuming that the average cost of a fixed-to-mobile call is 12,5 pennies per minute, with FCT it equals 6 pennies per minute which is more than 50% cheaper. FCT enables you to benefit from the mobile-to-mobile calls costs instead of using fixed-to-mobile calls, diverting your mobile traffic from the fixed line phones to mobile phones. FCT can be used by the SIM cards of all the main mobile providers like AT&T, Cingular, and T-Mobile.

How it works:

All your SIM cards are stored in the Fixed Cellular Terminal operating your telephone exchange. The phone numbers of all your mobile phones are fed into the telephone system using the least cost routing settings. So, every time you call one of the pre-programmed numbers, the call is diverted directly through the FCT and the SIM card not through the fixed line telephone exchange. Thus, it is registered as if you called from mobile to mobile but not from the fixed line and you pay just for internal mobile calls.

Under special conditions, namely, when a company makes calls only to its own registered mobile phones, it benefits from some networks inclusive tariffs on minutes because the SIM card in the FCT can be also included in the package. This means that internal calls between the company and its mobile phones can be free.
